Course Overview
This qualification is offered 6 Months full-time or part-time equivalent and is designed to provide the skills and knowledge for a person desiring to obtain positions in industry as Web Designers, Graphic Designers, 2D and 3D Animators, and Sound & Video specialists. This person would be able to perform a range of skilled operations in the Multimedia as well as the Film and Television industry. Graduates with strong 3D and Programming skills can find work in growth areas such as Games Development as well as Web Development.
Target Audience
This qualification is designed for Year 12 School Leavers, students who have completed the Certificate III in Multimedia, people who have experience in the print industry and want to make the transition to interactive electronic based production. This qualification is also suited to those already employed in the industry and wishing to upgrade their skills as well as to those wanting a career change.
Pathways
Completion of the Certificate IV in Multimedia will provide direct pathway into the Diploma of Multimedia. Some Universities will provide credits for some subjects completed in the qualification.
