Course Overview
This qualification is offered as a triple certificate, 6 Months full-time, part-time and flexi equivalent and is designed to reflect the role of employees who perform a range of skilled operations in the information technology industry with the need to apply discretion and judgment and some multi-skilling. People will be competent in basic technical functions with a degree of self-sufficiency as an advanced ICT user.
The Certificate III in Information Technology provides skills in advanced use of applications and network administration. A person with these competencies could provide basic software support to a unit or branch within an organisation and could work as a network support person within an organisation or to act as a first level support person.
There are a number of prerequisite units that must be completed before attempting this certificate.
