Course Overview
This qualification is designed to provide the skills and knowledge for a person desiring to obtain a position in an area spanning design, development, site performance and database integration through to implementation and acceptance testing. This person would be able to perform a range of skilled operations in the information technology industry with the need to apply discretion and judgment and some multi-skilling. It will provide skills for people in a broad range of design and development skills in both web and multimedia development and design.
There are a number of prerequisite units that must be completed before attempting this certificate.
Target Audience
This qualification is designed for Students who have completed the Certificate IV in Information Technology (Websites) and want a career in Website Development, People already employed in the industry and wishing to upgrade skills and People making a career change with prior networking experience.
Pathways
Completion of the Diploma of Information Technology (Website Development) will provide pathways into further University studies or a position in the industry in Website Development.
