Course Overview
This qualification is offered 6 Months full-time or part-time equivalent and is designed to provide the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in website design and/or administration either as an independent ICT specialist or as part of a team. This person would be able to perform a range of skilled operations in the Information Technology industry with an understanding of alternative approaches to applying skills across a broad range of web related areas. It shows the need to apply discretion and judgment and some multi-skilling. It will provide skills for people in a broad range of website design and administration and multimedia.
Target Audience
This qualification is designed for Year 12 School Leavers, Students who have completed the Certificate III in Information Technology and want a career in Website Development, People already employed in the industry and wishing to upgrade skills and People making a career change with prior computer experience.
Pathways
Completion of the Certificate IV in Information Technology (Websites) will provide direct pathway into the Diploma of Information Technology (Website Development), University studies or an Entry Level position in the industry.
